All trails around Entremont can be found on IGN 3430 and Top25 maps.
Pré aux Dônes Soft trail:
This gentle trail runs along the Borne from the "Tom Morel stele" to the "Hameau des Plains".
Buffaz smuggling trail:
Vertical drop: 560 meters (start at 940 meters and finish at 1500 meters).
Follow the path going to the "plateau des Auges". At the crossroads of "l'Envers de Lachat", leave this path to take the one going on the left towards "Col de la Buffaz". The return is by the same route. It is also possible to reach the "Balme de Thuy".
Plan de La Forclaz:
Departure: Route de Freney on the road D12.
Vertical drop: 435 meters (start at 815 meters and finish at 1250 meters).
To get to the start: Take the direction of the ski resorts, at the exit of the village of Entremont, stop left towards the sign "la vallée du Borne et d'Entremont". There is a small parking lot along the regional road.
Hiking: Cross on the small mound of earth which joins the forest track and follow the blue markings. This walk in the forest takes you to a small, fairly unspoiled mountain pasture: the chalets of La Forclaz. You can buy butter, reblochon and farmhouse tomme produced by the alpagiste. Take the small road to the Forclaz map in the middle. Return by the same path. There is a marked variant from the chalets at La Forclaz.
Sentier des Ravières:
Departure: Parking lot of Mayse.
Vertical drop: 310 meters (starts at 910 meters and finish at 1200 meters).
Take the track that goes up to the Mayse chalets (GR96). In the last loop, leave this track to take a path which descends on the right in the direction of Lajoux-Entremont. Cross the hamlet of Lajoux, continue on the tarmac road and, at the intersection, turn right towards La Ville.
Circuit des Auges:
Vertical drop: 846 meters (starts at 940 meters and finish at 1786 meters).
Difficulty: easy, practice in fine weather.
Small passage requiring attention at the foot of the rocks, at the exit of the wood. Leave early in the morning because the route is poorly shaded and provide water because there is no water point along the way.
Follow the tarmac and then stony road to the hamlet of Norcières. After crossing the ford of the Overan, continue on the forest track to the Auges' chalets. From the plateau you'll have a view on the Mont Blanc and the surrounding valleys as well as the village of Entremont.
Refreshment bar, catering and overnight stay at the Alpage lodge by reservation: Les Mangeurs de Lune (04.50.03.53.03 ou 04.50.22.47.22)
Departure: La Ville (Petit-Bornand).
Vertical drop: 950 meters.
To get to the start: Take the road towards Bonneville to the hamlet of La Ville. Leave the car a few meters after the last houses (parking at the foot of a water tank).
Hiking: Take the gravel path towards Mayse. After a few switchbacks in the pastures, the path crosses the city forest. In its upper part, the almost horizontal path crosses several avalanche corridors where you can see some chamois. The path ends in the pastures and crosses the alpine chalets of Mayse. We continue beyond the chalets and the path rises under the slopes of the small Aiguille Verte to reach the Col de la Forclaz allowing access to Lake Lessy. Return by the same path.
